FAQ

How do you photograph proposals?

For such a special moment, you’ll never have to worry about a thing. I’ll be right there in the perfect spot and can help plan any details you might need.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I’m based in Kirkland, WA, and I do travel! Right now, I travel up to 1-3 hours from my location, and a travel fee only applies for locations over 1 hour away.

When will we get our photos?

For my regular sessions (not including weddings), you’ll receive an online gallery link with your fully edited photos within 2–3 weeks, and never more than 4 weeks. Turnaround can sometimes be faster depending on the season I photograph your story.

How many pictures will we receive?

You will receive the number of photos included in your chosen package. If there are additional images that I love and feel are important to your story, I will include those as well — I normally end up adding a few extra to make sure your story is fully captured.

When do I book my newborn's photoshoot?

The sweet spot for newborn photos is between 2–5 weeks. To make sure your preferred timeframe is available, I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant — we’ll keep things flexible and adjust once baby is here.

When should I book my maternity session?

I recommend booking your maternity session at least a month in advance. The sweet spot is usually 28–34 weeks, when your bump is showing beautifully and you’re still feeling comfortable. If you’re expecting multiples, 24–28 weeks is often best. Every pregnancy is different, so timing can also depend on how you’re growing and feeling.

What happens if there is rain or bad weather on the day of our session?

Because we’re in Washington, weather can be unpredictable. If conditions aren’t suitable for shooting, we’ll either adjust the location or reschedule your session. I also keep an eye on the weather a few days in advance and continue checking up until the day before your session to make sure we’re set up for the best possible conditions. Full details on cancellations, rescheduling, and weather-related changes are outlined in the contract you’ll sign before booking.
